Suez Canal Q1 Revenues Increases 3%

Egypt’s Suez Canal has posted a 3% rise, or $36.4m, in revenue to $1.255bn for the first quarter of 2012, compared with the same period the year before.

Income from the international waterway reached $1.218bn during the quarter, while in March revenue stood at $428m, as MENA stated.
