Suit Against Morsi For Assigning Osama Yassin as Minister of Youth

Lawyer Khaled Desouky filed a suit no. 55817/66 against the State’s Council against the president Mohamed Morsi, the PM Hesham Kandil and Osama Yassin, minister of youth. The suit calls for cancelling the president’s resolution of assigning Osama Yassin as minister of youth.

The suit showed that the decree (90/2012)of assigning Osama Yassin  as a minister of youth violates the law and has no ground. The lawyer elaborated that Osama Yassin is one of the defendants, who killed the protesters in Tahrir Square last year, according to his confessions that he said on Al Jazeera Channel.

He said Yassin admitted that he was leading the armed group (65), and he was the general coordinator of Muslim Brotherhood in Tahrir Sq. at that time. Yassin said they were received instructions on 2 February 2011 to go up the buildings to kill a number of protesters.
