Talks With Saudi Arabia On Establishing Projects Worth $8, 5 Bn

Intensive talks were held during the past few hours with the aim of enhancing Arab and foreign investment in Egypt.

Fifty Saudi Investors and Businessmen under Dr. Tewfik Al Rabeia the Saudi Minister of Trade and Industry arrived in Cairo on Monday10/9/2012.

The Saudi delegation is due to be welcomed by President Mohamed Morsi during the coming few hours.

Minister of Finance Momtaz El Saeid is due to meet on Tuesday 11/9/2012 with the Saudi Businessmen delegation, which is currently visiting Egypt.

El Saeid said that the Central Department of Partnership with the private sector at the Ministry of Finance will submit to the Saudi delegation an offer of 15 projects the government intends to offer in 2013 to the private sector to set them up through partnership program.

El Saeid added that these projects are expected to attract more than 8,5 billion $ dollars worth of investments.

Meantime, Ossama Saleh, the Minister of Investment said that the Saudi investors’ office will be inaugurated on Tuesday 11/9/2012.
