Tanmeyah Injects EGP 300 Mln To Micro Enterprises In 9 Months

Tanmeyah Micro Enterprise Services Company’s portfolio of credit facilities registered about EGP 300 million in the first nine months of 2012.

The outstanding balance registered EGP 250 million, as it posted no change in the last two months because the value of disbursed funds equaled the value of the repaid funds, said Amr Abou Esh, chairman of the company.

The company fulfilled 72% of the targeted value it set to offer during this year which is EGP 420 million. The outstanding balance of credit facilities is expected to range from EGP 250 million to EGP 270 million by the end of 2012, he added.

The trade sector accounted for the largest part of the portfolio as it registered 60%, while the service sector accounted for 20% of the volume of the portfolio.
