TAQA Arabia has 25% women in leadership: CEO

Egypt’s energy distribution firm, TAQA Arabia has 25 percent women in leadership roles, said CEO Pakinam Kafafi at Women Professionals Summit (WPS) taking place in Cairo on Sunday.

Speaking at the Traits of Women in Leadership and Mechanisms of Achieving Frontline Leadership session, Kafafi further said TAQA Arabia has made progress in increasing the number of women in leadership roles.

“The petroleum sector (in Egypt) has higher representation of women and this will lead to produce better results by the time,” Kafafi added.

The Women Professionals Summit is powered by Top 50 Women Forum and Amwal Al Ghad Magazine in collaboration with the National Council for Women (NCW) and the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development.
