Assyut City Center’s First Phase to be opened early 2016

Egypt’s Tasweeq Shopping Malls plans to inaugurate the first phase of Assyut City Centre in Assyut governorate by early 2016, chairman Mohamed Galal announced.

According to Galal, the first phase is built on a space of 14.000 square metres, at investment cost of around 100 million Egyptian pounds (US$14 million).

Speaking to Amwal Al Ghad on Saturday, the Egyptian official said Assyut City Centre is set to be built on a total space of 77.000 square metres and be implemented in 3 phases. The total investment cost of the project is 300 million pounds (around US$ 42 million).

“Tasweeq is devoting full attention to governorates and cities of Upper Egypt that enjoy the abundance of several investment opportunities there” the chairman noted, adding that the state intends to develop Upper Egypt region and build new road network there.
