Telecom Egypt’s CFO Steps Down

In a meeting held on Tuesday afternoon, the board of landline monopoly Telecom Egypt (TE) (ETEL.CA) approved the resignation of Chief Financial Officer Hassan Ahmed Mohamed Helmy, effective as of February 9, 2013.

The company said in a statement release on Tuesday that Hassan Helmy ‘s successor will be announced in due course.
