Egypt’s Telecom Minister, Georgia Ambassador Review Bilateral Cooperation

Eng. Atef Helmy, Egyptian Telecom Minister has welcomed  Archil Dzuliashvili the Ambassador of Georgia in Cairo in Smart Village as during the meeting  they reviewed the various cooperation between the both countries in information and communication technology sector.

The Ambassador asserted on Georgia’s interest in Egypt’s current situation as his country is currently working positively despite of all the challenges.

Helmy confirmed that he realized the positive situation of Georgia regarding the ongoing developments in Egypt now. Presenting an overview of some of the priorities of the ministry, which focuses on creating  new jobs opportunities for youth in ICT field, and contribute in GDP by attracting direct investment to the Egyptian market.

He added that ICT sector puts promoting the economic and governmental sectors in its priority, in order to provide decent life and improve the quality of services provided to citizens.
