The Egyptian Telecom Ministry is aiming launching ‘cloud computing’ for the governmental device within days.
Eng. Atef Helmy, Telecom Minister said it will use the new computing in storing the databases, stressing that a large numbers of governmental platforms have no Servers and storage units currently.
Helmy added that clouding computing will allow huge storage areas and helps to accommodate IT infrastructure for the government sector, noting that the platforms of some ministries and Luxor governorate have no storage capacities for serving the citizens through the internet.
The Ministry is targeting to implement Egypt Digital Corridor Project which based on cloud computing.
