Tetra Pak Egypt: women represent 28% of senior management

Alia Omar, Head of Marketing at Tetra Pak Egypt, said that women working in the company’s senior management account for 28 percent of the total number of employees, as they seek to support women and give them the opportunity to advance.

Omar made her remarks during Tetra Pak Egypt on Monday, when the company celebrated International Women’s Day 2023.

She explained that women represent 23 percent of the total number of employees in Tetra Pak, 18 percent of women work in senior management, and 26 percent in administrative positions.

In addition to that 29 percent participate in office work, and 7 percent work in factories, the company continues to provide fair and just growth opportunities for all employees in its direct operations and activities and throughout the value chain.

Tetra Pak has recently published a report called The Voice of Innovation, which dedicated to highlighting the achievements of women working at Tetra Pak in various regions around the world, including Egypt.

The report included the successes achieved by the Egyptian engineer Mona Hassan, a field service engineer at Tetra Pak Egypt, who specialises in rehabilitating customer sites before installing equipment.
