Thailand’s industrial output experienced a decline in August 2024, driven by factors such as decreased auto production, higher production costs, and flooding in the northern region.
The manufacturing production index (MPI) fell 1.91 per cent in August compared to the same period last year, according to the Office of Industrial Economics.
On a monthly basis, the MPI also dropped by 1.56 per cent.
