The Egyptian Presidency Official Channel Attracts 80.000 Views

The Egyptian Presidency Official Channel, which was launched yesterday, recorded 80.000 views for the videos displayed during the last 24 hours, including the videos of the Minister of the Interior Ahmed Jamal EL-Din, which represents 70% of these views.

In the second rank comes the video of Dr. Abdel Kawi Khalifa in which he spoke about the Ministry of Public Utilities, and was watched by about 11 thousands people, followed by the Foreign  Minister  Mohamed Kamel Amr’s  video which reached 10 thousands views during the first day of opening the channel via the networking and video sharing website “Youtube.”

In light of  the agenda of president Mohamed   Morsi, the Egyptian Presidency has launched yesterday its official channel on “Youtube” with the aim of spreading the word about its programs and achievements as well as communicating effectively and more closely with the citizens, especially the youth who represents 29% of internet users in Egypt.

The channel, being the second electronic media after creating the official page on “Facebook,” is used to air a number of videos to introduce the new minsters in Dr. Hesham Qandil government.

It is worth mentioning that “Youtube” is the biggest website for video sharing all over the world, recording about a trillion views last year.
