Turkey’s confidence index for the services sector decreased by 2.0 per cent to 111.8 in August 2024 compared to July, reflecting a decline in business sentiment within this segment.
In contrast, the retail trade sector saw a positive shift, with its confidence index rising by 0.8 per cent to 107.9. This suggests a modest improvement in retailer outlook and consumer demand.
The construction sector also experienced a boost, with its confidence index increasing by 1.1 per cent to 88.0. This uptick indicates a more optimistic view among construction firms regarding future business conditions.
