U.S. deaths from the coronavirus will reach 410,000 by the end of the year, more than double the current death toll as the country heads into the fall and winter, the University of Washington’s health institute forecast.
Deaths could soar to 3,000 per day in December, according to the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington.
Covid-19 has already killed at least 186,800 people in the U.S., according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University
