The unemployment rates in Egypt retreated to 12.7 percent by the end of June 2015 against 13.3 percent a year earlier, said central bank governor in an Arab banking meeting Sunday.
Speaking at the 39th Meeting of the Council of Arab Central Banks governors that kicked off in Cairo Sunday, Hisham Ramez – governor of the Egyptian central bank – has attributed the decline in the unemployment rates to witnessing significant activity in economic sectors, notably the building and construction.
