Egyptian deposed president Mohamed Morsi will be sent to Borg Al-Arab prison on the outskirts of the city of Alexandria in the north of the country, according to the country’s state TV.
The rest of Morsi’s co-defendants in the trial for inciting violence and murder of opponents in December 2012 will return to Tora prison in south Cairo.
Morsi’s trial was adjourned on Monday to 8 January 2014.
