Urban Communities denies offering small lands to Egyptians abroad

Urban Communities Authority denied any intention of offering small-size lands – ranging from 300 to 400 meters- to Egyptians abroad, explaining that the authority aims at offering  the areas announced by the Minister, which range between 800 to 1000 meters.

Major General Kamal al-Din Hussein -Chairman of the authority- declared through an exclusive statement to “Amwal Al Ghad” that the authority’s focuses during the current period on the project announced by the Minister of Housing, which represents a good test of measuring the reactions of Egyptian living abroad regarding the project.

He pointed out that if the number of applicants who want to purchase the land becomes low, some modifications to the areas of land and perhaps in prices and payment facilities will happen.

He noted that the facilities which the ministry announced recently regarding the lands dedicated to the family housing and investors’ lands -small spaces- took place because of the difficult conditions experienced by citizens during the last year, and he explained that the authority has succeeded in achieving 100% profit during this year, as these facilities have contributed in achieving this percentage of profits.
