US Dollar Steadies Against Egypt Pound In Early Trading, Yen Falls 0.5%

During the early trading on Wednesday, the exchange rate of the US dollar in banks against the Egyptian pound has steadied at EGP 6.886 for buying and EGP 6.9165 for selling.

The exchange rates for the Arab currencies Saudi riyal and UAE dirham have witnessed no change on early Wednesday.

Saudi riyal has steadied at EGP 1.8311 for buying and EGP 1.9071 for selling. The UAE dirham has maintained the last day’s same levels at EGP 1.8733 for buying and EGP 1.947 for selling.

Meanwhile, the exchange rates of euro, pound sterling, and Kuwaiti dinar have surged against the Egyptian pound. Euro increased to EGP 9.0364 for buying and EGP 9.4405 for selling, compared to Tuesday’s levels of EGP 9.0007 for buying and EGP 9.4025 for selling.

The Pound sterling rose to EGP 10.5278 for buying and EGP 10.9983 for selling, opposed to Tuesday’s EGP 10.4969 for buying and EGP 10.966 for selling.

Additionally, the Kuwaiti dinar inched up to EGP 24.0266 for buying and EGP 24.9363 for selling, compared to Tuesday’s EGP 24.0106 for buying and EGP 24.9197 for selling.

On the contrary, the exchange rate of Japanese yen as the ¥100 hit on Wednesday EGP 6.9784 for buying and EGP 7.2894 for selling, compared to Tuesday’s levels of EGP 7.0147 (buy price) and EGP 7.3266 (sell price).
