USAID to provide $21mln in aid for Palestinians

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) announced on Thursday that it would provide more than $21 million in humanitarian aid to Palestinians.

The funding will include sanitary supplies, shelter, food, and multi-purpose assistance for more than 120,000 displaced civilians.

A part of the funding will be dedicated to supporting the healthcare system in Gaza.

Around 60 percent of the hospitals in the besieged city have collapsed entirely and are non-operational.

Since the Second World War, Israel has received the highest amount of military aid from the US worth around $124 billion, to assist in the mass killing of innocent Palestinian civilians.
