Vietnam’s exports to the United States have surged in recent months, with June and July shipments exceeding $10 billion. This represents a significant increase from earlier in the year and solidifies the US as Vietnam’s largest export market.
In the first seven months of the year, the country exported a total of $66.09 billion worth of products to the US, marking a 24.4 per cent annual increase, the highest among its trading partners.
American buyers spent an average of nearly $9.6 billion per month on goods from Vietnam during the reporting period.
Notably, they invested $11.16 billion in computers, electronics, and components; $9.19 billion in machinery and equipment; $7.21 billion in garment-textile; and $5.5 billion in phones and components, showing significant growth year-on-year.
Vietnamese exports, including electronics, leather, footwear, garment textiles, farm produce, machinery, and equipment, are predicted to continue recovering in the coming months due to improved quality and competitive pricing.
