Wheat Reserves Reach 1.103 Mln Tons in Alex Harbor

The wheat reserves reached 1.103.632 million tons in Alexandria harbor.

The regulatory authorities took all the necessary measures to unload 6 ships loaded with 278.500 thousand tons of wheat shipments, one ship loaded with 25.613 tons of corn and one other loaded with 32 thousand tons of gasoline reached Alexandria harbor.

Rear Admiral El Sayed Hamed Shaker Hedaya, the Head of Maritime Transport Sector (MTS), said samples of the wheat shipments have been taken so as to ensure the domestic consumption.

Additionally, Hedaya noted 2 trains loaded with 3100 tons of wheat had departed and went to other governorates.
