The international price of white refined sugar have witnessed a relative increase last week after successive retreats during September, as they rose to US$ 576.8 per ton last week, up from US$ 552.40 per ton a week earlier.
According to the latest report released by the Chamber of Food Industries of the Federation of Egyptian Industries, the international price of rice rose to US$ 295.26 per ton, up from US$ 294.18 per ton on September 19th, with expectations for further increases to US$ 332.45 per ton by next December.
The international price of wheat surged to US$ 319.39 per ton, up from US$ 317.28 per ton, with an increase of US$ 2.11, with expectations for further increases of up to US$ 331.53 per ton by the end of 2012.
