A new report showed the most expensive cities to travel to for a business trip, with four U.S. cities on the list, CNBC reported on Wednesday.

According to the ECA International classification for 2023 issued on Tuesday, New York is on the top of the list, being the most expensive city for a business trip.

According to the data, the average cost of a one day business trip to New York is $796.

Travel fees for a business trip to New York have witnessed a huge increase throughout last year.

The ongoing inflation of traveler consumer goods consumed by traveling businessmen increased by around 8 percent in the business trips.

Geneva was the most expensive city for a business trip in Europe, and in Asian came Hong Kong.
