10 Egyptian military personnel killed or wounded in North Sinai

Ten Egyptian military personnel were killed andwounded when an improvised explosive device exploded in North Sinai on Thursday.

An officer, a non-commissioned officer, and eight soldiers were killed or injured when an IED  under their vehicle exploded in southern Bir El-Abed city in North Sinai governorate.

“The armed forces pledged to continue  combating terrorist elements  in order to maintain  security and stability of the country,” the statement added.
