15 Proposals to start Projects in Luxor’s Baghdadi Industrial Area

Luxor has received some fifteen application forms requesting to set up projects worth 200 million Egyptian pounds (US$26.2 million) in the city’s el-Baghdadi industrial area.

Luxor Governor Mohamed Badr said those projects would provide around 557 job opportunities.

During his meeting with el-Baghdadi industrial area’s council board, Badr has reviewed the general schemes for the area as well as the investors’ demands.

El-Baghdadi industrial area has been established as pursuant to the decree no. 234 for year 2009, on a total area of 200 feddans expanded later to 253 feddans following a presidential decree, the current space is estimated at 311 feddans.
