2000 Tourists Arrive In Alexandria Port

Egypt’s Alexandria Port received Saturday morning the Maltese cruise ship “Thomson Celebration”, carrying 2000 tourists from different nationalities.

Gen. Adel Yassin Hamad, Chairman of Alexandrian Port, said the authority, jointly with Tourism Department in Alexandria, made up a program for the groups; including visits to the historical places, Bibliotheca Alexandria and the malls.

He added that the ship is coming from Turkey, and the groups are supposed to return to the ship later on, to continue their trip to Mediterranean Sea Ports.

The police men in Alexandria Port, led by Brigadier-General Ibrahim El Shennawy, finished all the procedures concern the groups, especially in the customs department in order to enjoy their touristic programs.
