Russian, Egyptian Companies ink five Cooperation Pacts

Egypt and Russia have signed five cooperation agreements on the sidelines of the Russian-Egyptian Business Forum that is being held in Cairo.

Egypt’s Trade and Industry Minister Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour and his Russian counterpart Denis Manturov have witnessed the signing of the agreements.

The agreements include protocols on cooperation between the following: the Russian Agency For Export with the Export Credit Guarantee Company of Egypt, the Egypt-based High point Furniture Co. with a Russian furniture company, the Russian Business Council with the SME Development Authority, Egypt’s Industrial Modernisation Centre (IMC) with Russian Industry Development Council, and finally Russian company for consulting studies with Egyptian counterpart.

A Russian-Egyptian business forum has opened in the Egyptian capital city of Cairo on Monday. The two-day forum is tasked to demonstrate investment and export potential of the two countries and help expand business contacts between them.
