Credit Agricole Egypt 2019 profit jumps 7.2%

Credit Agricole, France’s second-largest bank by market capitalisation, reported on Wednesday a 7.2 percent rise year-on-year in profit in Egypt for 2019.

Credit Agricole Egypt made a profit of 5.96 billion Egyptian pounds ($379 million) for 2019, compared with 2.2 billion pounds in 2018, it said in a bourse filling.

Revenues also rose to 5.96 billion pounds from 5.6 billion pounds in 2018.
