Madbouly orders continued work of factories, firms to meet Egyptians’ needs
Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly said on Tuesday factories and companies should continue their work at full capacity to meet the needs of citizens, while taking all preventive measures into account, according to MENA.
The premier made his remarks at a meeting with Minister of the Public Business Sector Hisham Tawfik to follow up the work of affiliated companies during the curfew period.
Madbouly stressed the importance of following presidential directives to deploy highly-equipped ambulances at workplaces to deal with emergency situations.
The minister reviewed efforts exerted to implement recommendations of a ministerial committee to apply a new system for cotton trade nationwide this year after its successful trials in Fayoum and Beni Suef governorates.
He added that the ministry is currently working on developing three cotton gins, which will be operative by the end of the summer this year.
He noted that the ministry also developed a cotton gin in Fayoum in line with the latest global standards.
