Facebook says it’s giving $20 million to women, minorities, and veterans in the U.S.
Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg said on Thursday the company is going to give $20 million in grants to small businesses run by women, minorities, and veterans in the U.S.
The money is part of a $100 million small business grant programme Facebook announced in March.
Facebook is planning to give $40 million to businesses in the U.S., and half of that is dedicated for businesses owned by women, minorities and veterans, she told CNBC.
Facebook will start to deliver that money to businesses sometime in the next few weeks, Sandberg said.
