Egypt reports 1,152 new coronavirus cases on Thursday – ministry
Egypt’s Ministry of Health announced on Thursday that it recorded 1,152 new cases of coronavirus virus, raising the total number of patients till date to 29,767, Ahram online reported.
Egypt has seen a drop in cases over the past three days recording 1,079 on Wednesday.
The Health Ministry also said it recorded 38 deaths due to COVID-19, making the virus’ total death toll in the country till date to 1,126.
On the other hand, 406 patients have been discharged from quarantine hospitals nationwide on Thursday after their complete recovery and so the total of fully recovered patients jumped to 7756.
The ministry also revealed in its statement that the number of patients whose results of coronavirus PCR test turned from positive to negative jumped to 8793 including the 7756 fully recovered patients.
