U.S, China to hold trade talks in the coming days, official says
Washington and Beijing will be get back to the negotiating table for trade talks in the coming days, according to China’s commerce ministry, after scheduled talks last weekend were postponed.
Ministry spokesman Gao Feng made the comments at a weekly briefing held online, without elaborating.
The trade talks are scheduled to evaluate the progress made on their Phase 1 trade deal at the six-month mark after it was reached in January, he noted.
