LG Egypt to invest $50mn in manufacturing facilities over 3 years
LG Egypt to invest $50 million in manufacturing over the coming three years to boost its household appliance manufacturing capabilities according to LG Egypt’s managing director Billy Kim.
The company is looking to up its production capabilities to manufacture television screens, refrigerators, washing machines and microwave ovens as well as positioning its Egypt unit towards becoming a spare parts production hub for the Middle East and North Africa.
He pointed out that the investments will be directed to increasing the working capital and expanding the production lines, and increasing employment during the coming period.
