Egypt’s stock exchange indexes bounce back, EGX 30 gains 0.37% on Wednesday
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes ended higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index bouncing back 0.37 percent to 11,334 points triggered by non-Arab foreign investors’ buying appetite.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) surged 1.13 percent to 1,995 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped advanced 0.55 percent to 13,266 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 added 1.09 percent to 2,931 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 inched up 1.15 percent to 2,148 points.

Total market capitalisation has gained 3.7 billion Egyptian pounds ($235.7 million) to close at 631.662 billion pounds on Wednesday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Wednesday, the trading value has approximately reached 2,6 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 349 million securities executed 41,460 transactions.
