Egypt reports 664 new coronavirus cases, 29 deaths on Sunday

Egyptian health ministry reported 664 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, bringing the total infection tally to 125,555 since the outbreak began in February.

In its daily statement, the health ministry also reported 29 new deaths, bringing the total number of deaths from the virus to 7,098.

The statement said that 336 patients have been discharged after recovering from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 106,817.

The country has been recently witnessing a rebound in coronavirus daily cases.
