EGX’s Morning Gains Doubled, booms L.E4.2 billion in Mid-Trading

During the mid-day trading session, EGX has managed to double its morning gains to eventually reach L.E4.299 billion. The capital market has recorded L.E392.210 billion.

The main index, EGX 30, has recorded a boom of 1.52% to reach 5425p. EGX20 has increased by 1.57% to reach 6483p.

Meanwhile, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 has risen by 1.01% to reach 531p. Price index EGX100 has surged by 1.16% to reach 888p.

The market has recorded turnovers of L.E326 million through a volume of trading amounted to 77.3 million shares for 17.5 thousand transactions.

This was after trading in 175listed securities; 45 down and 113 up while 17 keeping their previous levels.

Egyptian and Arab investors have made up purchasing deals concluding net sales reached L.E7.2 million and L.E4 million respectively.

Elsewhere, foreign investors were responsible for the sale deals as the difference amount between their sale and purchase deals worth L.E11.4 million.
