Egyptian Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation El-Sayyed El-Qusair met on Sunday the Japanese ambassador in Cairo Oka Hiroshi to find development irrigation systems and methods to resolve Egypt’s limited water resources.
El-Qusair discussed the cooperation in agricultural exports field, as he called to speed the completion for exporting Egyptian grapes to Japan especially after the success of exporting citrus.
They also shaded the lights on the Egyptian-Japanese cooperation in agricultural mechanisation field and suggested to share the great Japanese experience in this.
Moreover, the meeting tackled the cooperation in fish farming field and capacity building through the Luxor Coordination Center, besides training the African cadres in collaboration with the United Nations World Food Program (WFP).
