Meanwhile, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 has increased by 0.97% to close at 531.09p. Price index EGX100 has surged by 1.18% to reach 888.48p.

The market has recorded turnovers of L.E777.838 million through a volume of trading amounted to 171.346 million shares for 39.979 thousand transactions.

This was after trading in 186 listed securities; 64 down and 107 up while 15 keeping their previous levels.
