U.S. shares slid on Tuesday as investors grew anxious about the impact of another big rate hike. Nasdaq Composite fall by 0.95 percent to close the session at 11,425.05.
Dow Jones Industrial Average DJI decreased by 1.01 percent to reach 313.45 points and end at 30,706.23. The S&P 500 shrunk at 1.13 percent to settle at 3,855.93.
Elsewhere, Canada’s S&P/TSX Composite dropped by 0.99 percent to close at 19,368.69 and S&P/TSX60 narrowed down at 0.90 percent to reach 1,172.64. While, U.S. Russell 2000 lost 25.34 points or 1.40 percent to end at 1,787.50.
However, Brazil’s index – BOVESPA gained 693.02 points or 0.62 percent to record 112,516.91 as Mexico’s index S&P/BMV IPC added 0.59 percent to close at 47,068.53.
