Digital Egypt named Digital@UNGA finalist

Egypt’s Digital Egypt platform has been selected as a finalist for the Digital@UNGA Awards, out of more than 1,500 submissions from 146 countries. Led by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (CIT), the Digital Egypt platform serves as the backbone for delivering digital services to citizens.

The recognition highlights Egypt’s progress in digital transformation and the impact of its digital infrastructure.

Finalists will present their projects at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on September 21.

The Digital@UNGA Awards are a collaboration between the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
