Asian markets briefing 26/04/2023

The majority of the Asian markets closed low on Wednesday with the Chinese main index, SSEC, dropping by -0.02 percent. The index closed at 3,264.10, losing 0.77 points. It recorded a day high value of 3,277.98 and a day low value of 3,239.99.

Nikkei 225, Japan’s main index, fell by -0.71 percent to 28,416.47, losing 203.60 points. It recorded a day high value of 28,551.61 and a day low value of 28,319.77.

HSI, Hong Kong’s main index, rose by 0.71 percent and gained 139.39 points. The index closed at 19,757.27, recording a day high value of 19,903.73 and a day low value of 19,520.97.
