United States market briefing 28/04/2023

The United States market closed high on Friday with the Dow rising by 0.80 percent to 34,098.16 points. The index gained 272.00 points, recording a day high value of 34,104.56 and a day low value of 33,728.40.

The NASDAQ climbed by 0.69 percent to close at 12,226.58 after it gained 84.35 points. It recorded a day high value of 12,227.72 and a day low value of 12,082.57.

S&P 500 inched up by 0.83 percent and gained 34.13 points. It closed at a value of 4,169.48, recording a day high value of 4,170.06 and a day low value of 4,127.18.
