Samsung Electronics’ sales in Egypt have reached $1.3 billion, according to a statement by the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) on Sunday.
Samsung has become the top exporter in the country with investments worth of $500 million and provide 5,000 direct and indirect job opportunities, as it succeeded in fulfilling the demand of domestic and international markets, the statement added.
It is worth mentioning that the aforementioned figures statement was issued following a meeting between GAFI Chief Hossam Heiba and Samsung Egypt president Jun Su Jung.
