Egyptian Exchange briefing 17/05/2023

The Egyptian Exchange closed low on Wednesday with the main index, EGX 30, dropping by -1.10 percent to 16,844.01. The index lost 189.98 points, recording a day high value of 17,105.57 and a day low value of 16,807.10.

EGX 70 inched down by -1.57 percent and lost 47.30 points to close at 2,974.86. It recorded a day high value of 3,045.57 and a day low value of 2,974.20.

EGX 30 Capped lost 335.05 points after it fell by -1.60 percent. The index closed at a value of 20,034.87, recording a day high value of 20,423.57 and a day low value of 19,989.47.

The Egyptian Exchange market cap lost around 14 billion EGP today.
