Rare Beauty donates to Israel’s Magen David Adom

Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty announced it will donate aid for the crisis in the Middle East on Monday.

The company will be making donations to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.

However, it will also be donating to Israel’s Magen David Adom, or the Red Star of David.

The Red Star is run by the Israeli occupation forces, who have been bombing and killing innocent civilians for 75 years.

The beauty company is facing calls of boycotting over their support for genocide against the Palestinian people.

Many believe the company’s post is a cover up for the backlash they have been receiving for choosing silence.

Gomez has been under attack for choosing silence as well, but not only that.

When she spoke up, she announced she will be taking a break from social media due to the heartbreaking content she has been exposed to.

This caused backlash with people saying that there are children dying in Gaza, and for once it is not about white people’s mental health.
