US Embassy Closed Again Over Political Tensions

The US Embassy to Cairo suspended its work on account of the current incidents, as it is near Tahrir Square, Simon Bolivar Square, and Qasr al-Nil Bridge; negating that the building hasn’t affected by the violence incidents.

Reliable Sources in the US Embassy said the current incidents during the last two days didn’t influence the work.

The embassy elaborated that suspending work will include the visas services and information center, while the emergence services for the US citizens will be continued. It didn’t fix a date for resuming services.

The US Embassy, which is located at Garden City, is near the clashes in Qasr al-Nil Bridge and it closed after the bloody incidents on Sunday and Monday.
