Aramco CEO expects rise of oil demand in ’24
Saudi Arabia’s Aramco CEO Amin Nasser expected that oil demand would rise to 104 million barrels per day (mbd) this year and 105 mbd by 2025, according to Reuters on Monday.
He also downplayed the idea that demand will peak in the near future, citing OPEC figures that show demand reaching a record high of over 102 million bpd last year.
These announcements came during the 16th edition of the International Press Telecommunications Council (IPTC), which opened at the Dharan Expo on February 12 with a focus on sustainable energy supply.
