Egypt c. bank offers EGP 60b T-bills

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) is auctioning 60 billion Egyptian pounds in treasury bills (T-bills) on Monday, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, according to a CBE statement on its website.

The auction shall be in two tranches: 30 billion pounds for 91-day to be maturated on 30/07/2024 and 30 billion pounds for 273-day to be maturated on 28/01/2024.

Treasury bills are short-term government debt instruments with maturities ranging from three months to a year.
