BRICS IFE Forum kicks off in Moscow
BRICS International Financial and Economic Forum (IFE Forum BRICS 2024) opens in Moscow on Monday, attracting around 700 attendees worldwide, with tens of thousands joining online, according to TASS.
Participants include ministers, diplomats, business leaders, and experts, focusing on creating financial instruments within BRICS and business development amidst global changes.
The forum aims to adopt resolutions on payment systems, settlements, and emissions. It seeks to facilitate BRICS countries’ entry into new markets, enhance trade and investment, and strengthen ties between stakeholders.
Key highlights include agreements on interparliamentary cooperation and major investment contracts involving Russia, Brazil, Egypt, India, Iran, China, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia, and South Africa. Additionally, Representatives of a number of countries, including Algeria, Egypt, Yemen, Palestine, Peru, and Tunisia will participate.
