Banque Du Caire’s fourth investment fund attracted about EGP 130 million, exceeding the target by 30%.
The fund is investing in fixed income instruments such as treasury bills and bonds and managed by CI Capital Holding. The subscription period of the fund was two months, sources said.
The bank has three investment funds; the first one is a cumulative fund managed by Hermes and its is investing in securities, the second one is a monetary fund with a daily cumulative return and it is managed by Beltone and the third one is an Islamic fund launched in cooperation with the Principal Bank for Development and Agricultural Credit with a periodic cumulative return and is managed by HC Securities & Investment.
Sources added that the funds investing in fixed income instruments attract large numbers of subscribers because of its low risks, ability to withdraw money at any time and its high return despite being lowered from 16% to 14%.
